Barbara Ritter Lee

Barbara Ritter Lee, 77, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late John Austin and Burt Starke Ritter; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald D. Lee. Mrs. Lee retired from the state health department after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Frances Bland Randolph Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Bolling Family Association, the Hopewell Women’s Club, the Village Women’s Club and First United Methodist Church in Hopewell. Mrs. Lee is survived by numerous loving family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA with Pastor Chris Andress, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hopewell SPCA in memory of Barbara Lee.
