Barbara Blanch Lipchak, 79, of Prince George, widow of Leo David Lipchak, Sr., passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Etta Thompson Cochran. In addition, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings. Mrs. Lipchak was baptized in the Catholic faith later in life. She became an active member of Church of the Sacred Heart, where she sang in the choir and also served as a Eucharist minister. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, and listening to country music. She is survivd by her children, Barbara Skeen (Glenn), Sharon Carter (Keith), Leo David Lipchak, Jr. (Margaret), and Anne Wilkerson (Glenn); grandchildren, Dawn Rogers (Paul), Charles “Bubbie” Perdue, Chelsea Perdue, Heather Carter (David), April Kegley (Wayne), Austin Wilkerson (Andrea), Brandon Wilkerson, Eric Lipchak, and Aaron Lipchak; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Jacob Boze, Paul “Cade” Rogers, Dylan and Bryce Kegley, and Aiden Wilkerson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 24th at Church of the Sacred Heart with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the church.
