Barbara Faison McCabe, 79, of North Chesterfield, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014. Mrs. McCabe was retired from the Federal Reserve Bank and was an avid traveler. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Helen Faison; husband, Gilbert Ray “Bob” McCabe; and a brother, H.L. Faison Jr. Mrs. McCabe is survived by her daughter, Theresa McCabe Klebert and her husband, Robert J.; grandchildren, Joshua D. Gunter and Trevor R. Klebert; great-granddaughter, Madison G. Gunter; brother, James “Bub’ Faison and wife, Kristie; sister-in-law, Barbara Elliotte and her husband Harold and family; several nieces and nephews and loving family and friends. The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the funeral home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mrs. McCabe to the Massey Cancer Center, P.O. Box 980214, Richmond, Virginia 23298.
