Barbara Ellen Scott

Barbara Ellen Scott, 70, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Heiskel Scott, Jr. and Margaret Sordelett Scott. Barbara worked as a secretary for the Hopewell School System for many years. She is survived by Buddy Ford, of Quinton, her high school sweetheart who became her companion in 2000; cousins, Pat Jenkins, of Hopewell, and Ruth Tate, of Hopewell; and many cousins in Virginia and Maryland. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 2 PM at Blandford Cemetery, 319 South Crater Road, Petersburg.
