Barbara Groves Sutton

Barbara Groves Sutton, 79, of Hopewell, passed away at home on Monday, December 11, 2023. Born in Chesterfield, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Groves and Floy "Polly" Beasley Groves. A long-time resident of Prince George, Barbara worked for Strosnider Chevrolet, Inc. for over fifteen years. She was an avid reader and loved to spend time on a beach. Barbara is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, M. Allen Sutton; her daughter, Sonya S. Holloway and her husband, Tom; her daughter, Kimberly S. Siddons and her husband, David; her son, Adam M. Sutton and his wife, Leigh; and her sister, Susan G. Prince. Barbara had eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
