In her early years, in addition to raising ten children, she was busy with cooking, gardening, canning and sewing, and she enjoyed playing both piano and organ. She was a kindergarten Sunday school teacher and a member of the choir at St. James Catholic Church in Hopewell.
She loved holiday gatherings with standing room only. In her later years her favorite activities included quilting, doing puzzles, color-by-number pictures and Diamond Dots painting, and she enjoyed birdwatching from her kitchen window. She spent her last few years being cared for and loved by hospice workers and personal sitters. Special thanks go to Emily, Emma, Michelle, and Sharvi.
