Barbara Helen Trim

Barbara Helen Trim, 81, of Chester, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Born in Eldora, IA; she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Helen Hurtt; and was also preceded in death by her husband Dennis Neil Trim, her sister, Nancy Dole; and two grandsons, Brett and Brock Rankins. Barbara was a devoted member of Chester Christian Church and Chester Village Voices. She also loved golfing, knitting and reading. She is survived by her daughters, Tina Miller (Barry) and Traci Rankins (Daniel); grandchildren, Bethany Ashburn, Kathleen Perry, Courtney Owens, Rebecca Rankins, Rachel Rankins and Parker Rankins; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Kylee, Connor, Cooper and Sadie; and sisters Dixie McKibben and Kay Ann Shirk. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Chester Christian Church at a later date.
