Barbara Marie Watson

Barbara Marie Watson, 68, of Chesterfield, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dot Johnson and Lois and Ben Nile; brothers, Adam Johnson and Danny Crowder; and grandson, Nathan Watson. Barbara was a member of Ettrick Fellowship Baptist Church. She retired from Walmart Distribution in Sutherland, Virginia. Barbara also helped at the Whippernock Marina with the Williams family since 1999 and was an integral part of the community there. She never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone. She had an immense love for her grandchildren and her dogs, and was also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Barbara was never known to be seen without a Pepsi in her hand. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Barbara is survived by her children, Steven Watson (Niki) and Patsy Almany (Bobby); grandchildren, Kayla, Corey, Alexis, Tyler, Madison, Jackson, and Cameron; great-granddaughter, Wrenleigh; sisters, April Clark, Beverly Emory, and Ann Marsee; brother, Robbie Crowder; lifelong friend, Bonnie Sue Reyes (Craig); and extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at J.T. Morriss & Son - Petersburg Chapel, 103 S. Adams Street, Petersburg.
