Barry Carlton Lynch, 59, of N. Dinwiddie passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Born October 10, 1961, he was the son of Katie Marie Woodel and the late Carley Lewis Lynch, and was also preceded in death by his furbaby, Hollie, who stayed by his side for 13 years. He worked for VDOT as a Highway Transportation Superintendent for 19 years and also for the Virginia Department of Corrections for 3 years. Barry was an outdoor enthusiast who appreciated all wildlife and enjoyed camping and canoeing. An avid car enthusiast, Barry loved all things Chevrolet. He was also a military history buff and was very interested in World War I and World War II history. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa Brannon Lynch; mother, Katie Marie Lynch; stepchildren, Heather Wilson and husband, Paul, Kristen Ayscue, Lauren Beasley; grandson, Greyson Beasley; three brothers, Albert Lynch and wife, Sue, Lewis Lynch and wife, Cheri, Carl Lynch and wife, Rebecca; and numerous nephews and other extended family members. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Homes and Crematory, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, N. Dinwiddie, VA 23803. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. following the service in Dale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday November 9, 2020 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
