Bartolomao Buffo

Bartolommeo M. Buffo, 81, of Hopewell died Thursday, May 20, 2010. He was born in Gardiner, Massachusetts. Mr. Buffo served as an Aircraft Maintenance mechanic in the U. S. Navy , was Post Commander of Post 637 V.F.W. in Hopewell and was employed in the mail room of Hopewell News for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mariangela Quecia Buffo and his first wife Josephine, and a grandson Robert W. Willis. Surviving are his wife Nancy M. Buffo , sons, Theodore J. Buffo (Melody), Edward L. McComber, Jr., (Kathy),Robert W. McComber (Diane), James C. McComber, William â??Willieâ? McComber, Sr., John P. McComber, Sr., daughters, Elizabeth G. Martin (Michael), Karen R. Vaughan (Gary), all of Hopewell, nineteen grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren, a brother John Buffo (Mary Alice) of WV. Numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, May 24, 2010 from 6-8pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 2pm in the Hopewell chapel with Pastor Robert Breckenridge, pastor of Powers Memorial Baptist Church officiating .
