Beatrice Padgett

Beatrice Harrell Padgett, age 82, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011. She was born in Jarratt, VA, the daughter of the late Ollin and Laura Major Harrell. Mrs. Padgett is survived by her daughters, Doris Hill and Virginia Mae Padgett; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Dorothy H. McDowell, Loretta H. Lucy, and Elizabeth H. Peck; brothers, Alvin S. Harrell and Edward W. Harrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. A funeral service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Hopewell chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with a visitation taking place 1 hour prior to the service.
