Bernadette M.M. LaFreniere, 65, of Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2011. She worked in the medical field for over 40 years as a Registered Nurse. Bernadette is survived by her husband, Jimmie LaFreniere and children, Eric Alexander, Shawn Patrick, Guy Lawrence, Jennifer Marya, Nicholette Anastasia, Christian Bernard, and thirteen grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Crater Community Hospice (3916 South Crater Road Petersburg, VA 23805) and St. Josephâ??s Indian School (1301 North Main Street, Chamberlain, SD 57325).
