Bernard Wayne â??Lumpyâ? Wells, 69, of Dinwiddie County, died Thursday, July 22, 2010.
He was the son of the late Bernard T. and Effie Tucker Wells. He loved to hunt and fish in his pass time, along with being a member of the Old Hickory Hunt Club, the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge and Crawford United Methodist Church in Dinwiddie. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn C. Wells; two sons, Jeffrey Wayne Wells and Chris Wells and wife, Sherrie; two grandchildren, Shelbie and Christa Wells; a host of numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Monday, July 26, 2010 at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 pm Sunday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Crawford United Methodist Church, 20816 Carson Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841.
