Bernard V. Moran Jr.

Bernard Vincent Moran, Jr., 88, of Colonial Heights, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Magnolias of Chesterfield. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Moran, parents Bernard Vincent Moran, Sr. and Ada Byron Goodwyn Moran, a son Brian Thomas Moran and a daughter Nancy Elizabeth Moran. Bernard was a longstanding member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus as a former Grand Knight. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Moran Longerbeam and her husband, Orville of Midlothian; son, Michael Patrick Moran and his wife, Melanie of Colonial Heights; five grandchildren, Anne Marie Roberts of Fredericksburg, Paul Thomas Longerbeam of Midlothian, Megan Moran, Michelle Moran and Mallory Moran; a sister, Jean Moran Minson all Colonial Heights. A visitation will be held 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Mass of Resurrection to immediately follow.
