Bernice Davis Gregory

Bernice Davis Gregory, 72, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Bravely fighting Multiple Sclerosis for years, she ultimately lost the battle with complications due to COVID-19.

Born in Richmond, VA, Bernice Gregory was the daughter of the late W. Maurice Davis and Frances Kimbrough Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Gregory. She is survived by her three children: Mary Gregory, Sarah Gregory Marks (Morton, III), and Matthew Gregory; and three grandchildren, Austin Marks (Ashley), Casey Bredl (Mark), and Ryan Marks. She is also survived by her sister, Gladys Terrier (Mike).

Bernice Gregory was employed with Chesterfield County Public Schools as an Instructional Assistant, retiring after many years. She was an active member at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church. Prior to her struggles with MS, Mrs. Gregory enjoyed sewing, bowling, camping, and site-seeing during local travels. More recently, she spent time reading and solving word finds. Her positive spirit was an inspiration to many; she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
