Bernice Orton

Bernice Riddle Orton, 69, of Dinwiddie passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at her home with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley Riddle and Mable Leah Spence Riddle; her husband, Horace Mitchell Orton; a daughter, Robin Crystal Jones and a sister, Mary Ann Barnes. Bernice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Tabernacle Church in Carson. She is survived by a daughter, Michelle O. Mayton and her husband, Earl; son, H.M. Orton, II; grandchildren, Mitchell, Sean-Wesley, and Megan; nieces, Rhonda Beville and Kim Vesley and a special family friend, Robin Brown. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Tabernacle Church in Carson. The Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
