Bertha Robertson

Bertha Anne Robertson (Sheva) 69 of Richmond, died November 23, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Thomas H. Robertson of Richmond; daughter, Mrs. Reva S. Lippa; son-in-law, Louis J. Lippa, Sr.; two grandsons, Louis J. Lippa, Jr. and Christopher Thomas Lippa, all of Chesterfield County, VA; step-daughter, Shelli L. Katrina, and husband, John of Philadelphia, PA.; four sisters, Mabel Stevens of Sandston, VA., Edna Rakes of Philadelphia, PA.; Frances (Sissy) Dailey of Richmond; Helen Ferguson of Richmond; one brother, Paul Chenault of Richmond and the late Bennett Chenualt, many nieces, nephews, and many devoted friends and neighbors. Mrs. Robertson (Sheva) was the founder of Sheva’s School of Belly Dancing, the first Middle-Eastern Dance School in the state of Virginia, in April 1972. She was also retired from the Federal Government, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, November 29, 2004 at Beulah United Methodist Church, 6930 Hopkins Road, Richmond, VA. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Sunday.
