Mrs. Bessie Marie Malon Allin, 94,of Prince George County, died Sunday, September 18, 2005 in Battlefield Park Convalescent Center, Petersburg, Virginia.
A lifelong resident of Prince George County, Mrs. Allin was a member of the Church of Sacred Heart, New Bohemia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Mary Troch Malon, her husband, Harold Earl Allin, Sr. and a daughter Hazel A. Swann. Surviving are a son Harold Earl Allin, Jr.and wife Barbara, of Prince George, two daughters, Jean A. Harrison and husband Henry, III of Prince George, and Nellie A. Dempsey and husband Jim of Moyock, N.C., nine grandchildren H. E. Allin, III, John Allin, Chris Allin, Hinton Harrison, IV, Justin Dempsey, Jacob Dempsey, Debbie Connelly, Michelle DeFord, Kimberly Harrison, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2005, in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son with visitation to follow. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 10 a.m. in the Church of Sacred Heart, New Bohemia, with the Rev. Jay Wagner, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
