Betti Farnsworth

Betti Lou Farnsworth, 40, of Ford was suddenly taken from us on Thursday, November 10, 2005. She was born in Baltimore, MD and was the daughter of Loretta Robinette Haskett and Doyle Taylor Farnsworth. She was a former employee of the City of Petersburg and was known for her beautiful heart and her giving spirit. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her five children, Ray Springston, Jr., Justin Springston, Sara Springston, Frannie Farnsworth and Jacob Farnsworth; four sisters, Rene Helms, Vicki Pettus, Traci Hamilton and Priscilla Hamilton; eight nephews; six nieces; and numerous friends including her former husband, Ray Springston, Sr. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, at 2 p.m. at Living Stone Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Newton and Rev. Carl Weaver officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to benefit the children, care of Living Stone Baptist Church, 5732 Boydton Plank Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. The family is being served by J. T.
