Betty Broach Barker

Betty Broach Barker, 80, of Chester, VA went to be with our Lord, Saturday, February 1, 2020. She was at peace and surrounded by her family. Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert K. Barker. She is survived by sons, Rob Barker and Kimmy, Ricky Barker and Karen, Jeff Barker and Charlene, Joe Barker and Grace; daughter-in-love, Shannon Barker; eight grandchildren, Marissa, Bryce, Adam, Lauren, Jordan, Adell, Austin and Angel; four great-grandchildren, Aryana, Ava, Mylah and Aubrey; and sister, Carolyn Johnson. Betty graduated from Thomas Dale High School in 1959. She loved Jesus, her family, going to church, playing bingo and fishing. She was always in charge even until the end. She was loved by many and will truly be missed. A graveside will be held, 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Park 2901 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831.
