Betty Brown

Betty Lou Brown, 81, of Prince George County went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 5, 2010. She was a Prince George school bus driver for 29 years and a member of Highland United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy, Sr. and Bessie Vogtman Scott and her husband of 62 years, Calvin D. Brown. She is survived by her son, Dr. Calvin Roy Brown and wife, Linda; granddaughter, Kimberly M. Taylor, CPA and husband, Steven; great-granddaughter, Jordan Elizabeth Taylor; great grandson, Robert Calvin Taylor; sister, Virginia Fine; half sister, Shirley Behnke; step sisters, Margaret Ayers and Dorothy Tennant and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 3 to 5 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
