Betty Jean Brown

Betty Jean Brown, 88, of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. Born in Hinton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Pearley Martin Bryant and Rose Meadows Bryant. She was also preceded in death her son, Glenn Edwin Brown; and siblings, Louise C. Noland, Mildred C. Vennari, Helen C. Ellis, and Eugene Cales.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Bobbie Leonard Brown; daughter-in-law, Lisa Brown; and nephew, Richard Ellis and his wife, Carolyn.
Betty Brown was employed with Roses as Division Manager, retiring after many years. She was a charter member of WOOM of Hinton, West Virginia and member of Order of the Eastern Star Virginia, 1 Alpha Chapter, Colonial Heights.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
