Betty Dillingham

Mrs. Betty Lou Saunders Dillingham, 78, of Hopewell, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Franklin NC and was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Etta Tippett Saunders. Mrs. Dillingham was a retired civil service secretary, a member of the First Baptist Church and Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed handcrafts and attending local craft shows. Survivors include her husband, Loren Ray Dillingham of Hopewell, two sons, Mark A. Dillingham of Washington, DC , Loren Douglas Dillingham & wife, Nancy, of Manassas, VA and a grandchild, Lauren Dillingham, of Manassas, VA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 28, 2010, from 7 â?? 8:30 p.m. in the Hopewell chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 10 a.m. in First Baptist Church, Hopewell, with the Rev. Harvey Skinner, officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
