Betty Fisher

Betty Christopher Fisher, age 64, of Roxboro, NC formerly of Church Road, Virginia went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Willie E. and Hallie M. Christopher of Dinwiddie and was preceded in death by brothers, Willie E. Christopher Jr., Cecil B. Christopher, Curly Joe Christopher and one sister Joyce Ann Christopher. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Abner G. Fisher; daughter, Laura Ann Ellis; son, Christopher C. Fisher; four grandchildren, Wendy Lewis, Casey Ellis, Ashlyn Fisher, and Aiden G. Fisher; two sisters Alice and husband Joyce Maitland; Louise and husband Bobby Bishop; two brothers, Bobby and wife Joyce Christopher and Thomas Christopher; three sisters-in-law, Mariquitta Christopher, Patsy Christopher and Betty Coleman. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Petersburg, Virginia.
