Betty Lou Hall Graves, 89, of Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Born in Richmond, VA she was the daughter of the late Robert Hardy Hall and Katherine Brockwell Hall. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Robert Sparks Hall; her beloved husband, J. Keath Graves; and granddaughter, Angela Marie Graves.
Betty Lou was a faithful, lifelong member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights. Her strongest passion in life was her family, especially her grandchildren who she adored dearly. She is loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Pamela G. Mayes (Syd), Beth Minton, and J. Keath Graves, Jr. (Melanie); grandchildren, Thomas Anderson, Jr., James Mayes, Amy Mayes, Ashley Brobst (Allen), Lindsey Walker, Jamey Williamson (Jacob), Lauren Minton, Emily Minton, and Amanda Arnett; 6 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thankyou to the staff of At Home Care & Hospice and the Petersburg Home for Ladies for their support and kindness during the last 3 years.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Blandford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Wesley United Methodist Church, 3701 Conduit Rd., Colonial Heights, VA 23834 or to the Petersburg Home for Ladies, 311 S.
