Betty Lafoon

Mrs. Betty Irene Gunter LaFoon, 86, of Hopewell, died Monday , March 22, 2010, at Lucy Corr Village. She was born in Sylvia, NC and was a retired sales clerk at Peebles Department Store. Mrs. LaFoon was preceded in death by her husband, James Madison LaFoon. Surviving are daughters, Lisa L. Robinette and husband, Kelly, of Chester, and Mary L. White and husband, Arthur of Greenville, PA; grandchildren Nicole B. Robinette and Courtney L. Robinette both of Chester and Christopher D. White of Santa Rosa. California, and a great-grandchild, Ellison Q. White of Santa Rosa, California.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 7 p.m in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with visitation to follow the service. Interment will be Friday, March 26, 2010 at 11 a.m at New Hope Christian Church, Danieltown, VA.
