Betty Margarete Myers

Betty Margarete Myers aka “Betty Boops”, 52, of North Dinwiddie, died Thursday, November 24, 2016. Betty worked for 20 years as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service until her health began to fail. Her many co-workers and friends showered her with support during her illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy E. Gleave. She is survived by her mother, Margarete J. Munson; devoted partner, Ancie Daniels both of North Dinwiddie; sons, William C. Myers of Petersburg, and Jonathan D. Myers (Leslie) of Sutherland; daughter, Jennifer M. Myers of Petersburg; grandchildren, Andrea Brooks and Sean Myers; brothers, Roy E. Gleave, Jr. (Claudia) of Chester, Woodrow L. Gleave of Colonial Heights, and Jerry L. Gleave of Brighton, MI, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
