Betty Roberts

Betty Carter Roberts, 73, of Dinwiddie, widow of Norman E. Roberts, Jr., died Friday, November 21, 2008. She was born in Moneta, Virginia the daughter of the late James W. and Mary Martin Mayhew. In addition, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Roberts was a retired employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. and an avid bowler for over 30 years. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Carter Stech of Charlottesville; grandson, David Wayne Stech and wife, Michelle of Dinwiddie; granddaughter, Amy Marie Stech of Charlottesville; great-grandchildren Kelvin â??KKâ? Weaver, Logan Stech and Marissa Stech; brother Sam Orie Mayhew; and numerous nieces and nephews.
