Betty Rushmore

Betty Lou Rushmore, age 76 of Richmond, VA, died Thursday, February 23, 2006. Miss Rushmore was born and spent most of her life in the Petersburg area. She was a member of Monumental Baptist Church and the Kingdom Seekers Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Mamie Powell Rushmore; two sisters, Patsy R. Crump and Connie Winslow. She is survived by a sister, Anne R. Mahr of New York; two nieces and a nephew; numerous cousins; and a long term caregiver and friend, Major Julia E. Hambrick. A private graveside interment of cremains will be held at a later date on behalf of Miss Rushmore. Arrangements are being conducted by the J. T.
