Betty Ann Scott Harrison

Betty Ann Scott Harrison, 84, of Hopewell went home on Thursday July 21, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Lee Scott; her husband of 57 years, Lester Davis Harrison; and her daughter, Penny L. Harrison; son-in-law Gary Renkenberger; and Gloria Kiffe. Betty retired from Sears after 25 years of customer service. She was a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Betty is survived by her daughters, Patricia H. Waller, Pam H. Elder (Gibby), Paula McDaniel; grandchildren, Jesse Waller, Adam Elder, Kasey Bernstein (Jon), Amy E. Smith (Barry), Jacob Waller, Melissa A. Price (Pete), Kevin N. McDaniel; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Vivian Fike, Darles R. Harrison; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family Grace Holbert, Mary Hening, Robert Alley(Judy) and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday July 24, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday July 25, 2016 at Wesley United Methodist Church 2901 Norfolk Street Hopewell VA 23860 with a private interment to follow.
