Betty Wadkins

Betty G. Wadkins, age 66, of Chester, VA passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2007. She was born in Atlanta, GA the daughter of the late Warren William and Edith Stearns Gates and the widow of James T. Wadkins. She is survived by daughters, Pamela E. Nides and husband, Jeff of Norfolk, VA and Mary Michel Hinton and husband, Bryant of TX; son, William Kevin McCormick and wife, Susan of NH; grandchildren, Megan L. Dane and husband, Aaron of Norfolk, Stacy M. Nides of Norfolk, Gabriella E. McCormick, Jonathan O. McCormick and Deanna Rolke, all of NH and Elizabeth A. Hinton of TX; great grandchildren, Nina and Wyatt of Norfolk; brother, Thomas Adams of PA; and devoted friend, Richard A. Turner of Hartfield, VA. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, March 23, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held there on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
