Betty Godsey Wells

Betty Godsey Wells, 91 of Hopewell, VA passed away, Saturday, March 4, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Godsey & Minnie Godsey Holder; and her beloved step-father, Pierce Holder; a daughter, Rhonda Leigh Wells; and her brothers, Jack Holder and Bill Godsey. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Rudolph Wells; a daughter, Rebecca Wells Browning and husband Fred; grandsons, Phillip Browning and wife Stephanie; and Andrew Browning; sisters-in-law, Bernice Godsey and Mary Lou Holder; as well as, numerous extended family and friends. Betty was a longtime member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church in Hopewell and retired after many years of service with Dr. A.T. Brickhouse.
