Beverley A. Wallace

Beverley A. Wallace, 79, of North Chesterfield, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013. She loved sewing, crafting, gardening, and her chickens. Mrs. Wallace was a great cook and made a fantastic banana pudding that her family always enjoyed. She loved family get-togethers, especially at Christmas. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Bellwood Baptist Church and loved working in the nursery. She was also an avid traveler. Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond J. Corbin; her second husband, Flay Wallace; two sons, David A. Corbin, and Christopher A. Corbin; and her parents, Raymond and Mabel A. Harter Brown. She is survived by her sons, Raymond L. Corbin and his wife, Lea, Edward A. Corbin and his wife, Margaret, James M. Corbin and his wife, Wanda, Ronald J. Corbin, Michael W. Corbin, Steven F. Corbin, Eugene L. Corbin and his wife, Allison, and Hank W. Corbin and his wife, Michelle; daughter, Delilah A. Stevenson and her husband, John; a brother, Cecil Brown and his wife, Joan; thirty grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Bellwood Baptist Church, with Pastor Tony Young officiating. Interment will be private.
