Beverly S. Lebow, 73, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2004. She was born in New York City, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude Liebowitz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Stanley J. Lebow, and is survived by daughter Sharon Lebow Grossman and her husband Michael; son Dr. Marc I. Lebow and his wife Nina; son Dr. Joseph E. Lebow and his wife Mary; grandchildren Nikki Grossman and Scott Lebow; and sister Elaine Bernstein and her husband Gerald of California.

She belonged to Temple Brith Achim and was an active member of its Sisterhood, holding many key leadership roles. She was also a member of the Hopewell Jewish Woman’s Club and a life member of Hadassah. Mrs. Lebow had belonged to the Hopewell Jaycettes.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 7th at Temple Brith Achim with Rabbi Dennis Beck-Berman and Rabbi Michael Panitz co-officiating. The meal of consolation will be held at the synagogue following interment. The Grossman family will sit Shiva at their home in Virginia Beach.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Hampton Roads Chapter, 405 S. Parliament Drive, Suite 105, Virginia Beach, VA 23462 or to a charity of their choice.
