Beverly Lloyd Partin, 81, of Hopewell, died Friday, August 19, 2005 at his residence. He was born August 15, 1924 in Hopewell to the late Bolling W. and Frances W. Partin. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Arline R. Partin; three sons, Steven D. Wells and wife, Patricia A. Wells of Sutherland, VA, Jeffrey G. Wells and wife, Donna G. Wells of Gloucester, VA and Alan L. Partin and wife, Becky R. Partin of Ruther Glen ,VA; one daughter, Susan S. Harris and husband, J. Brett Harris of Wilson, NC; seven grandchildren, Crystal F. St. Clair, Matthew G. Wells, Sarah E. Wells, E. Blair Southerland, Taylor P. Southerland, Maggie A. Southerland and Katherine G. Partin; one brother, Bolling S. Partin, Sr.; and one sister, Elizabeth Ann Hatch. He was predeceased by two sisters, Frances P. Nicholson and Sandra G. Partin. Mr. Partin served in the Navy during WW II as a Pharmacist Mate First Class. He was a graduate of East Carolina Teachers College and the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy. He was a registered Pharmacist and co-founder of Circle View Pharmacy in Hopewell where he worked for 25 years before retiring in 1987. He was a life Member of First United Methodist Church in Hopewell. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved golf, music and reading. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5 P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 22, 2005 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. William Wash presiding. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Va.
