Billie Terry Fulton, 77, of Hopewell, VA. died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Clarksdale, MI and had been a resident of Hopewell since March 1963. Mrs. Fulton was preceded in death by her parents, James B. and Josephine Carr Terry, and a daughter, Deborah Fulton McGuire. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Womanâ??s Club of Hopewell where she served as the Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, 3rd Vice President and Membership Chairman, 2nd Vice President, and Chairman of the Yearbook, as well as Publicity Chairman. She served as the Newsletter Editor, parliamentarian, Records Chairman and Reservations Chairman. Billie was a former member of the Junior Womanâ??s Club of Hopewell, Virginia, Jordan Point Country Club, and formerly worked as a statistician for both the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army. Mrs. Fulton is survived by her husband, Frank B. Fulton of Hopewell, a son, Col. James G. Fulton, USAF and his wife, Laura S. Fulton of Dayton, Ohio, two granddaughters, Elizabeth C. Dillard and husband Brad, and Rebecca A .Fulton, two grandsons, Andrew S. and Jonathan B. Fulton, a brother-in-law, Monsignor Robert W. Fulton A funeral service will be held Friday, December 31, 2010 at 12:00 PM noon in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with the Rev. Dr. Ron Bullis of First Presbyterian Church officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery.
