Billie Harvey Kea, 78, passed away Monday, January 23, 2006 after a long illness. Born June 25, 1927 in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Perry Harvey and Rose Price Harvey.

Mrs. Kea is survived by her husband, E. Peyton Kea, Sr.; two sons, Edward Peyton â??Buddyâ? Kea, Jr. and wife, Lynne, and Paul Sydney Kea and wife, Karen, all of Ivor; one daughter, Kathy Kea Aiken and husband, Harrison Aiken, Jr. of St. Simons Island, GA; five grandchildren, Edward Peyton â??Treyâ? Kea, III and wife, Tara, Silas Daniel Kea, Paul Sydney Kea, Jr., all of Ivor, Sarah Barge and husband, Jonathan, of Atlanta, GA, Harry Aiken, III, of St. Simons Island, GA; and great-grandchild, Thomas Peyton Kea, son of Trey and Tara. Billie was predeceased by her brother, William Harold Harvey.

Graveside services will be held in Ivor Cemetery, Ivor, Virginia, on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Steve Gupton officiating. Her remains will be resting at Purviance Funeral Home, 11414 General Mahone Hwy., Wakefield. Memorial donations may be made to the Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 228, Ivor, Va. 23866.
