Billie Wilson

Billie Johnson Wilson, 62, of Hopewell, died Friday, April 15, 2005 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Franklin C. and Althea W. Johnson. Mrs. Wilson was a graduate of Petersburg High School as well as a graduate of the Petersburg General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a loving mother and an advocate of the SPCA. Mrs. Wilson was a nurse in the community for over 25 years and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Hopewell. Mrs. Wilson is survived by a daughter, Lori W. Deffely, a son, James S. Wilson and wife, Jennifer, a grandson, Donald ?Donnie? R. Deffely, a granddaughter, Victoria ?Tori? C. Wilson, a half-brother, Richard M. Johnson and wife, Isabelle of Jacksonville, NC, former husband and close friend, Morgan Wilson, a special friend, Pat Wilson and a devoted faithful family pet, Bogey.. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 19, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 11 AM at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, Virginia with the Rev. Thomas J. Farrell officiating.
