Billy Ray Ellis Jr.

Billy Ray Ellis, Jr., 44 of Virginia Beach, VA., passed away, Thursday, March 30, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Ellis, Sr. He is survived by his mother Kathleen Nicholas and husband William; a sister, Ashley Nicholas; the love of his life, Holly Stitham-Ellis and her family; aunts, Linda Gillis, Deborah Gorrie and Gwen Ellis; numerous extended family and friends; as well as his fellow Black Hats. Billy was an avid weightlifter; he enjoyed playing football, and softball. He loved motorcycles, spending time with his beloved family and friends. A memorial service will be held, 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Crematory Hopewell Chapel, 820 W. Broadway Ave. Hopewell, VA 23860.
