Billy Gupton

Billy Edgar Gupton, age 84, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2009. He was born in High Point, N.C., son of the late N.C. and Euphone Gupton. Mr. Gupton graduated from North Carolina State University and retired from Allied Chemical as a Director of Purchasing and Distribution. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Gupton is survived by his wife, Ann T. Gupton; son, Carey C. Gupton and wife, Paula; daughter, Kyle Gupton; step-sons, Des Moore and wife, Marsha and Camm Moore and wife, Stephanie; step-daughter, Mary Katherine Moore; grandchildren, Stephanie Gupton, Everett Gupton, Carey Ball and Emma Ball. Mr. Gupton was preceded in death by his first wife, Iris P. Gupton. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Chesterfield chapel, is handling the arrangements.
