Billy Lee Irvin

Billy Irvin, 70 of Hopewell, died on Wednesday December 23, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford L. Irvin. Billy served his country proudly in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post#148, V.F.W. Post in Colonial Beach VA, a member of the Judicial Watch Group, and was a member of The Sons of Confederate Veterans. He also enjoyed his gardening, and his coin collecting. Billy is survived by his loving wife, Judy Irvin; sons, Chris Irvin, Matthew Irvin; his mother, June Jones Irvin; brothers, C. David Irvin (Susan), Arthur Irvin (Debbie), Donald Irvin (Donna); aunts, Margaret Keith, Jenelle Owens; mother in law, Verna Cook; sister in law, Linda Allen; longtime friend, Keith Parker and his wife, Denise; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Monday December 28, 2015 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens in Prince George.
