Blanch Virginia Browder Tutton, 98 of Hopewell died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Prince George County and had been a long time resident of this area. Mrs. Tutton was a member of the Golden Age Club and the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Eva Mae Cotton Browder, her husband, Clarence William Sherer, a daughter, Annette Sherer Jarrett and her husband Horace, a son, Fred Perry Pierce, a grandson, John Gregory Pierce and a son-in-law, William Moss, Jr. Mrs. Tutton is survived by two daughters, Kathleen â??Kittyâ? Sherer Moss, Ruth Sherer Fry and her husband John E. Fry, all of Hopewell, 16 grandchildren, Sandra Kazebeer and her husband Jack of Chester, Vickie Harris and her husband Danny of Jacksonville, FL, Robbin Keener and her husband Larry of Myrtle Beach, SC, Michael Moss of Gainesville, FL, Kim Moss of Pointe Verda Beach, FL, Debra Buie, Cathy Jarratt, both of Prince George, VA, Butch Jarrett and friend Donna, Mark Jarrett and wife Debbie, both of Dinwiddie, VA, Darrell Jarrett and wife Sonya of Orlando, FL, Ted Pierce of Colonial Heights, VA, Phillip Pierce and wife Yvonne of Monroe, NC, David Pierce of Prince George, Tim Pierce of Williamsburg, VA, George Pierce of Petersburg, VA, and Jane Minetree and husband Tim of Colonial Heights, VA, 33 great grandchildren, 35 great, great Grandchildren, and 1 great, great, great granddaughter, two sisters, Frances B. Treaster of Hopewell, Alice B. Walker of Woodbridge, and a daughter-in-law, Lottie Hall Pierce of Williamsburg. The family will receive friends Friday, September 14, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ed Bellis, pastor of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church officiating.
