Bobby Dwight Langford

Bobby Dwight Langford, 38, a resident of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Kathleen Pemberton; paternal grandparents, Talley and Eva Langford. He is survived by his loving wife, Amy Purdie Langford; son, Bobby D. Langford; brother, Wayne Langford (Christina); mother and father, Harvey and Deborah Langford; mother and father in law, Kenny and Linda Purdie; and a niece, Jillian Langford; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Bobby was a dedicated employee at Service Center Metals. He loved grilling, yard work, taking care of his Sulcata Tortoises Mike and Molly; as well as an avid Washington Redskins fan. Above all he was a devoted husband, father, brother and uncle. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the Hopewell Chapel. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park.
