Bobby Richard Ratcliff Sr.

Bobby Richard Ratcliff, Sr., 71, of Chester, VA, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018. A native of Cedar Bluff, VA, he was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Leiby; daughter, Virginia Lynn Ratcliff; a grandson, Cory Stevens; and his partner in life, Bob Carmen. Bobby proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was discharged with the rank of Sergeant. A devoted Redskins fan, he enjoyed playing bingo and poker, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He is survived by his son, Bobby Richard Ratcliff, Jr. and wife, Patty; a sister, Rita Torola; grandchildren, Christina Stevens and Kimberly Stevens, several great-grandchildren, and his best friend, his dog, Zeus. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
