Bonnie Burgess

Bonnie Lou Burgess, 56, of Hopewell died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in Chippenham Medical Center in Richmond. She was born in Tarboro, NC. Mrs. Burgess was a member of Redemption Outreach Center and was a receptionist for Delta Oil Co. in Petersburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, George E. & Elgie Renfro Stanley and a sister, Rebecca S. Cooper. Mrs. Burgess is survived by her husband, Wiley Floyd Burgess, a daughter, Kristi Burgess, a son Wiley F. Burgess, Jr. and his wife Jodi, 2 grandchildren, Karleigh Burgess and Jaron Burgess all of Hopewell, three sister, Madeline Jones of Tarboro, NC, Patricia Everette of Rocky Mount, NC, Peggy Sessoms of Pinetops, NC, two brothers, James Stanley of Tarbobo, NC and Robert Stanley of the Philippines, a sister-in-law, Jackie Jones and her husband Ronald of Rocky Mount, NC, a niece, Brittney Jones of Elm City, NC, several nieces, nephews and devoted family and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 12, 2006 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 13, 2006 at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Chuck Crocker and Rev. Joey Bohatec officiating.
