Bonnie Mountfort Cloud

Bonnie Mountfort Cloud, 63, of Chester VA, passed away on Wednesday December 15, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Mountfort and Margaret Lowery. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Mountfort and Bruce Mountfort. Bonnie retired after more than 30 years of service from the Chester Post Office. She was a member of St. John’s Epsicopal Church in Chester and a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was survived by her loving husband of over 42 years, Bill Cloud; sons, Robert “Rob” Cloud (Judy) and Joel Cloud (Erin); grandchildren, Olivia Cloud, Stella Cloud, Dylan Cloud and Gavin Cloud; sisters, Jody Mountfort and Kitty Wells, as well as numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chester. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
