Bonnie C. Keffer, 58, of Hopewell, widow of William “Ron” Keffer, died Tuesday November 2, 2004 at her residence. Born in Hopewell, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rena Todd Cabaniss. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and an employee of Target Stores. She is survived by her children, Elvis Keffer, Sr. and wife Dana Keffer of Dinwiddie, Theresa Brisendine and husband, Joe Brisendine, Johnny Cone, and Tennille Chambers and husband, Robert Chambers all of Hopewell; ten grandchildren, Elvis Keffer, Jr., Ryan Keffer, Ronnie Keffer, Amanda McCoy, Matthew McCoy, Bonnie Brisendine, Liane Cone, Johnny Cone, Jr., Tony Chambers, and Angelina Chambers; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Lee Keffer, Dylan McCoy, and Tiahna Irving; three sisters; four brothers; several nieces and nephews; and special family in Nags Head, N. C. A memorial service will be conducted by the Women of the Moose at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home followed by visitation until 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with entombment following at Southlawn Memorial Park.
