Bonnie Reese

Bonnie Yates Reese, 45, of Chesterfield, passed away on November 16, 2008. She was born in South Boston, VA, the daughter of the late Lucias and Barbara Yancey Ray. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Martin â??Martyâ? Reese of Chesterfield; step-children, Shannon Locklear and husband, Jason and Joey Reese, all of Jacksonville, North Carolina; a brother, Danny Ray and wife, Deborah of Mechanicsville, VA; nephew, Michael Ray ; and niece, Becky Ray. Bonnie was a former employee of S.I.L. Insurance Agency for approximately 15 years. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A second visitation will take place at the Powell Funeral Home, South Boston, VA on Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 12 to 1 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens, South Boston. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions are made to the Childrenâ??s Hospital, 2924 Brook Road, Richmond, Virginia 23220.
