Brandon Michael Diamond, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 17th, 2021.
Brandon was born May 11th, 1993 in Hopewell, Va. Brandon is survived by his girlfriend Brittany Morris of 3 years, his precious daughter Bailey, 1 1/2, his parents Deborah and Charles Honn, Richard and Ginger Diamond, older siblings Ashley Berganza and Amber Diamond, younger siblings Abigail, Allison and Brody Honn, step siblings Nathan, Guy, Kristin and Seth Eubanks, Grandfather Michael Birchett and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members who loved him dearly.
Brandon is preceded in death by Grandparents Fred and Sharon Diamond, Grandmother Mattie Birchett and Grandparents Thomas and Anna Honn.
Brandon was a 2011 graduate of Thomas Dale High School where he excelled at academics, baseball and wrestling. Brandon attended VMI where he also excelled at academics and baseball. He was a 2019 graduate of VSU where he played baseball and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. Brandon also played baseball for the Carson Cardinals from 2012-2015 and the Petersburg Royals from 2016-2020. He was slated to begin playing for the Carolina Yankees playing pro baseball this summer.
Brandon had an unmatched passion for life, unparalleled love for his family and friends, the most amazing smile that could light up the dark. The world was made a better place because he was here. Brandon will forever be missed more than he will ever know.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Heights Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
