Brenda Ottilie Dunn Coleman, 68, of Carson, VA, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011. Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Henry Clay and Marie Berger Dunn. She was a long time member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Carson. In addition, she was a Past Matron of Stony Creek Chapter No. 126, Order of the Eastern Star and served in various other offices within the chapter. She was also a past grand officer of the Grand Chapter of Virginia, OES. Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband of 51 years, Lawrence L. Coleman; daughters, Rosemarie Coleman Bland and husband, David T. Bland of Emporia, VA, and Angela Coleman Quinn and husband, John F. Quinn, III of Richmond; son, Lawrence Lee Coleman, Jr. and wife, Rebecca Coleman of Jarratt, VA; grandchildren, Nicholas Togger, J. Colin Quinn, Evan Togger, Kate Quinn, H. Dillon Quinn, Amanda Quinn, Ryleigh Coleman, Sydney Coleman, and Cole Coleman; great-granddaughter, Madison Togger; sister, Joan Marie Diener and husband, Walter; uncle, Rudolph O. Berger; and her beloved Yorkie, Charlie. A funeral and Eastern Star service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Entombment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
